Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove.  My Hometown! It is the oldest neighborhood in Miami.  Settled by naturalists, sailors, pioneers, artists and some of America's wealthiest industrialists, Coconut Grove is a village, not a city, and the vibe reflects it.  Just drive through it and you'll understand.  The lust green canopy has not given way to the steady march of development that has affected other neighborhoods in Miami.  The Grove hugs the coastline of Biscayne Bay which is why it is the location of some of the most expensive real estate in S. Florida.  This is the reason the Wall Street Journal featured it in their 2016 article Miami's Coconut Grove Grows from Birkenstocks to Billionaires
